Dear Artist Friends,

Welcome to the official reference guide for drawing my characters.  I am primarily a writer, so I really enjoy working with the many talented artists who have helped to bring my characters to life in a visual medium.  

If you're looking for my main site instead, it's over at www.codydenton.com.  Head over there! This site isn't as pretty to look at, but it's just designed to be an artist reference, not a work of art itself! 

A tremendous amount of time and effort has gone into creating this guide, with the goal of helping you, the artist, to create work that will make us both proud.  Please take the time to familiarize yourself with this guide, especially if it is your first time working with me or drawing a certain character.

In particular, please do note the sections entitled "A Few Simple Rules" and "Copyrights / Trademarks."   I fully respect the rights of artists, but to prevent any misunderstandings and hard feelings, these documents set out my own rights in my characters.

I hope that this site is useful to you and provides you with all of the information you need to do your job well. In addition to the specific pages for each character, don't forget to check out the reference library for general tips and tidbits.  Since this site was built just for hard-working artists like you, could you please tell me how I've done?

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask!  I have a long history of enjoyable and professional relationships with artists and I want our experience working together to be a good one.  Communication is the key!
